I could not agree with this more - I got cancelled this week from a group for posting what i though was satire - meme on the interweb and I was branded a racist and cancelled (i think thats why) - had I been called -in I could see what the offence was and make sure not to repeat it - but how do you correct your behaviour when mob rule is the way - And if people knew me then they would know how far of the mark they were. I am glad I am a member of this vmo group - dialogue is how you solve issues not naming shaming and then cancelling - this is like the communist which hunt in the usa in the 50's - its now used as a weapon not helping grow tolerance at all. (my views are my own)
Yeah totally agree. It's a good way to move forward and use it in an educational way, moreso than one to call out people for their outdated (and probably long changed) views.
