Guerrilla marketing is one of the best ways for start-ups and small businesses to get their name out there.
Unlike with a lot of digital marketing methods, the cheaper and more creative the better.
And that’s one thing that start-ups and small businesses have in common. The need to produce results quickly and on a lower-end budget.
With this kind of marketing, you need to be creative and think outside the box. You’re not going to stand out or make people whip out their phones to start sharing your campaign online if it looks like everyone else’s, are you?
It’s almost easier to do it with less of a budget because you need to think of more ways it’ll get seen, rather than sticking to the usual been there done that kind of ways.
The dating app Thursday is probably our current favourite at nailing this kind of marketing.
If you’re not familiar with them, here’s their LinkedIn along with their founder George's.
They’re a dating app going against the big dogs. Every few weeks you’ll see them pushing out something new that nobody else is doing.
