Do this to make more sales 💲
This is the sales process I used to get 340 clients signed up for my training subscription business.
Hey, It’s Mike 👋
Here’s my four-step process to increase the number of leads you generate and send into your sales funnel.
Even though we all know the importance of leads, I see lots of small business owners ignore this part of the process.
In today’s issue, I’m sharing my own sales process for generating new leads.
It’s the system I used to sign up 340 clients for my training subscription business.
I went from 0 to 80 clients in 12 months.
I’d signed up 200 by the end of year 2.
And 340 at the point I exited the business.
All by using this simple system.
Here’s how I did it. This one is about a 10-minute read. 👇
“I’m not very good at sales”
I hear it all the time and if you’re a small business owner there’s no excuse for it.
If this is you, stop thinking of sales as a dirty word.
If your product or service is good, then you’re not forcing something on people, you’re helping them overcome a problem.
If your product is shit and you feel bad about selling it, that's an entirely different problem.
And don’t passively wait for leads to come to you.
Closing a lead that's prequalified through your webform is great, but it’s not sales. That’s order-taking.
Even if you’ve set up paid ads, backlinks, and SEO, this 4 step process will help you generate even more leads.
And who doesn’t want more opportunities to close?
I’m going to assume we all now understand the importance of posting content.
Written posts, videos, podcasts and so on.
What worked particularly well for me was written posts that talked about the problems my target clients had.
“E-learning is expensive”
“Elearning is boring”
E-leaning isn’t a very good way to learn”
The important lesson is I did this every day. I wasn’t worried about going viral. I just made sure I was talking about a topic my target audience would be interested in.
With the content posted (for me, my main platform was LinkedIn, but the process works where ever you get the most engagement) I then followed these four steps religiously. 👇
