Do this if you want leads from YouTube. 👀
These are the videos you need to make if you want to see a return.

This week:
💠Why your business should be on YouTubeÂ
💠How to get started
💠Tips from Paddy Galloway and Josh GudgeonÂ
💠What to post on your channel
As with everything, these are just our views, and you don’t need to consider every single one. But, if you do, over the course of a year you’ll have tried 52 extra things to improve your sales and marketing and make your business less shit.
YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world and it’s owned by the first, Google.
And the most searched word on Google is YouTube.
That should be enough of a reason to want your business on there, but not everyone has the knowledge (or enough motivation) to start posting decent enough video content that people will want to watch, and sometimes the thought of a new platform strategy can make the whole process off-putting enough to not bother.Â
We get it. We’re the same.Â
Plus people can get stuck in the way of thinking that their business has done well enough without using YouTube for this long, so what’s the point in starting it now…
Your business probably did alright before TikTok and Instagram, too, hey?Â
Not to mention the number of businesses that have gone from using the platform as a traffic source and way to educate their customers, to having the platform as their sole business and now only creating content around the industry.
Maybe one day you can stop the graft and start posting about it instead. 👀
So, for you, it’s a solid traffic source for new leads. A shit tonne* of people use YouTube every day to find answers to their questions. *122 million daily users, for context.
It’s great for brand awareness and discovery, and it won’t cost you anything to get going nor will you need an agency to do it for you.Â
Plus any videos that rank on YouTube have the potential to rank on Google, so it’s great for SEO.
It takes some of the legwork out. You can direct prospects and clients to a bank of videos so you don’t have to repeat yourself answering questions you’re always asked on calls and emails and do less hand-holding during their journey. You look credible and like you know your shit when really, you just got a bit fed up of answering the same stuff week in and out.
Long term, if you start getting some good views, you can monetise your content and get paid off the ads. You’re literally being paid to market your business. 💰
And for them, your viewers and potential clients, there’s zero risk and they aren’t expected to give anything back. They just got some free knowledge and are one step closer to trusting you and what you say.

We spoke with a few YouTube creators to get their views on the platform and if it’s really a space that works for everyone.Â
